From 1267 until his removal at the order's Paris assembly in 1286, he served as the province of Lombardy. Additionally, he attended the councils of Ferrara (1290) and Lucca (1288) representing his own region. Previously, he served as one of the four delegates tasked for conveying Pope Nicholas IV's intention to remove Munio de Zamora from his post as master of the Dominican order. Munio de Zamora had held this position since 1285, but a papal bull dated April 12, 1291 ultimately removed him from it.
