An anthology of Roman antiquities, originally released in Basel in 1583. This extended version was published in 1613 by the Scottish historian Thomas Dempster (1579–1625). Early hand markings on the front free endpaper. A few tiny chips and tears, some repaired leaves, some ornate strips from another book pasted on the title page and next leaf, some dampstains and other staining within; overall, very good. some scratches and scrapes to the calf.
