Description: Commentarius Masoreticus Tiberias sive This academic commentary by well-known Christian Hebraist Johannes Buxtorf explores the development and history of the Masorah (codified vowels and vocalization of the Hebrew text), and it was meant to be a companion to his well-known Biblia Rabbinica. He was referred to as the "Master of the Rabbis". His enormous work, De Synagoga Judaica (1st ed., 1603), meticulously records early modern German Jewish life and traditions.
