Culemborg Spoelder Roman statesman, orator, lawyer, and philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero (106–43 BC) held the office of consul in 63 BC. He was born into a prosperous Roman equestrian order municipal family and is regarded as one of the best orators and prose stylists in Rome history.
