Description: Nukaya Mukhtasar al-Wiqayah by Sadr al-Shari'a al-Asghar Approximately 170 lvs (= 340 pages) of beautiful calligraphy; written in Arabic in Nastaliq script; purchased in Uzbekistan; original binding with embossed medallions; size 6 1/4 by 10 1/2"; excellent condition . Sadr al-Shari'a al-Asghar, also called Sadr al-Shari'a al-Thani, was a Hanafi-Maturidi scholar who was skilled in astronomy, logic, lughawi, astronomy, mufassir, mutakallim, nahawi, grammarian, muhaddith, and Qur'anic exegesis. He was also well-known for his theories on time and location as well as his commentary on Islamic jurisprudence, demonstrating his extensive knowledge of a wide range of Islamic subjects. His ancestry extends to 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit. Al-Taftazani and 'Abd al-Hayy al-Lucknawi both gave him appreciation.
