Description: Danish reference book. The first edition, called Salmonsens Store Illustrerede Konversationsleksikon Complete after publisher Isaac Salmonsen, was a heavy, massive set of nineteen volumes published in 1893–1911 by Brodrene Salmonsens Forlag. It was fully illustrated in color and black and white with hundreds of in-text illustrations as well as some fold-out plates. Each book is 7 by 10 1/4" in size, and while the content is in excellent shape, there is minor wear on the cloth covers and leather spines and corners.
