Description: School of Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1483-1520) Fine 16th Century Italian Renaissance Old Master depiction of the Adoration of The Magi, oil to panel. Important and rare early high renaissance Old Master similar to the works or Raphael's Oddi altarpiece. Fine draughtsmanship and harmonious composition as the three Magi present their gifts at the Nativity. Very good condition for its age with some slight overcleaning but retaining all of its original detail and palette of high renaissance pigments. Rare & early work strongly associated with Raphael and his circle. Worth further research. Provenance: Private UK collection of Old Masters Measurements: 20" x 11" unframed
