Description: Antique oil on oval gold-based panel depicting several angels blowing trumpets, created in the early Italian Renaissance style in the fifteenth century. Outstanding old painting that was commissioned for an altar that is representative of the frescoes and paintings by Fra Angelico that were created in Florence in the early Renaissance. Oval frame with some minor losses and elaborate hand-carved ornamentation. Size: approximately 15" by 14" when framed.
