Isaac Cleave, London, 1701 The first dictionary designed specifically to help lawyers translate and draft legal documents is now available in its FIRST EDITION. The original complete brown paneled calf measures 4 3/4 by 7 3/4". Rebacked in later light brown calf, with a later burgundy gilt morocco lettering label (corners strengthened, wear and tear, binding worn and occasionally dirty), a little section of the title page's upper margin cut (text intact), and some markings from an academic library. A few wormholes on the edge of the final few leaves. The midsection of the bookblock is partially broken. Text in Latin, French, and English.
