Description: "Tatimmat al-hawashi fi isalat al-gawashi" (Explanation and clarification in order to draw back the curtain) A work of theologian Yusuf bin Muhammad Al-Karabagiy (d. 1625) that discusses monotheism (tawhid) and the tenets of religion (usul-ad-din). Arabic text from the 19th century Acquired within Uzbekistan original ribbon binding with medallion embossment. Nice calligraphy measuring approximately 150 lvs (300 pages) in size. Excellent condition, very slight wear. The well-known collection of prayers for the Islamic prophet Muhammad, known as Dala'il al-khayrat wa-shawariq al-anwar fi dhikr al-salat?ala al-Nabi al-mukhtar ('Waymarks of Benefits and the Brilliant Burst of Lights in the Remembrance of Blessings on the Chosen Prophet'), was composed by the Moroccan Shadhili scholar Muhammad al-Jazuli (died 1465 AD). It is separated into sections for daily recitation and is well-liked among traditional Muslims in several parts of the Islamic world, particularly North Africa, the Levant, Turkey, the Caucasus, and South Asia.
