Description: Fine large 1900 German Impressionist scene of the artists daughters picking flowers in a summer landscape, oil on canvas by Johannes Franz Klomp. Excellent and rare example of the German architects painting in superb original unrestored condition. There are few publicly listed works by Klomp as most are held by the family though they often depict sketches of nature including his home, garden and family. He painted for personal enjoyment over commercial success. Signed and framed. Measurements: 80cm x 70cm framed approx
