Description: 1 fine, substantial antique oil painting of a seascape The sailing barque "Antilles" was a disciple of John Frederick Loos. Unsigned but clearly a John Frederick Loos style disciple. Loos came from a distinguished line of maritime painters who were active in Antwerp in the second half of the 19th century. He painted more fluidly than his father did. "Antilles" oil on canvas is the title.
