Grand scale extensive landscape view of a battle from the Italian Wars with cavalry fighting oil the foreground as war wages on into the distant castle on the horizon. Exceptional composition and figural detail. From a private London estate and kept in storage. Dry surface that has been temporarily cleared to show the brightness and detail but soon dries as need a professional clean and varnish. Some losses. Presented in an antique gilt frame. Measurements: 61" x 39" framed
