Description: 1 London Fine British Art Oil Painting Blackfriars Bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral in the 18th century, as seen in William Marlow's moonlit dusk photograph. William Marlow was an English landscape and maritime painter and engraver who lived from 1740 to 14 January 1813. Blackfriars bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral are seen in the subject maritime coastline picture of London from the 18th century, taken at night by moonlight. As it is set at dusk at night with moonlight, there is such a wonderful sense of atmosphere, intrigue, and mystery. Two empty rowing boats are anchored in the foreground on the far left. To light up the gloomy London night, oil lamps are placed further back along the bridge and around the buildings and docks. British artist WKL's initial signature.
