Description: Francis Swaine's oil on canvas depicts a sizable British Royal Naval fleet off the coast with numerous other ships. A fine gilded frame with an artists' plaque is used to exhibit items of excellent quality and condition. Although Peter Monamy and Swaine both used distinctive styles and techniques at the time, many of Swaine's paintings during the conflict are unsigned. Relined, professionally restretched, and ready to hang. Dimensions: about 35" x 26" framed
