Description: Francis Swaine's oil painting depicts a sizable 18th-century British Royal Navy squadron off the shore alongside other ships. Presented in a nice gold frame with an artists' plaque, it is of excellent quality and condition. Although Swaine's style and technique during that time were unique, as was Peter Monamy's, many of his paintings during the war are unsigned. professionally stretched, relined, and prepared for hanging. Dimensions: approximately 35" by 26" when framed
