Subject charming beautiful animal study of a group of cattle gathered watering on a rolling landscape with country farm buildings in the background and trees to the right with other cattle in resting in places on the bank by the river. Oil on canvas. The painting is not signed but this is typical for this type of work from this relatively early period. An exceptional fine Georgian artwork. Set in a traditional large deep thick oak wood frame. Circa Georgian era. Provenance purchased from a high end auction label verso.
