Description: Huge 19th Century English landscape with cattle and sheep resting at a watering hole, oil on canvas by Thomas Sidney Cooper. Excellent rare large example of Coopers work signed bottom right and with excellent provenance. Has an old restoration area that can be fully repaired by us so its no longer visible. Presented in its original antique gilt frame. At this scale its likely to be a Royal Academy exhibited piece as well as the companion to a composition held at the Victoria and Albert museum. Measurements: 55" x 43" framed approx
