Original leather binding; upper spine portion damaged. a few damaged leaves remain in the upper corner of the margin. Latin text is used. Roman statesman, orator, lawyer, and philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero (106–43 BC) held the office of consul in 63 BC. He was born into a prosperous Roman equestrian order municipal family and is regarded as one of the best orators and prose stylists in Rome history.
