Description: Large 16th Century Old Master portrait identified traditionally as Diane d'Andoins, Countess of Guiche and one of the mistresses to King Henry VI of France, Excellent quality portrait of the young countess wearing an elaborate lace collar, pearls and displaying her wedding ring likely a wedding portrait following her marriage to Philibert Gramont, Count of Guiche. Some losses and old restoration expected with a work this early, we can quite for full restoration. Presented in a later antique gilt frame. Measurements: 45" x 38" framed approx
