Description: Off the Harbour by William Henry Williamson (British 1820-1883) signed and dated 1874 oil painting on canvas, framed canvas: 12 x 18 inches framed: 22 x 28 inches. Superb Victorian marine oil painting, depicting fishing boats in choppy seas off a coastline and old fishing harbour. It looks as though the storm clouds have moved on and so the boats are heading out to sea. The painting is by William Henry Williamson (1820-1883) and beautifully presented in this ornate swept frame.
