Description: Large English fox hunting scene from the 19th century, Lincoln, oil on canvas by Cuthbert Bradley. The large party, lead by Mr. N.C. Cockburn, traverses the Lincolnshire fields of The Vale while fox hunting. Exceptional detail and historical significance with brilliantly detailed figures filling the scene in black and scarlet tunics as they scale the fence. Signed and presented with presentation plaques in its original antique gilded frame. Would benefit greatly from a professional cleaning. Approximate measurements: 51" x 34" when framed
