Description: The book Ruscelli, Girolamo (1518–1566), La Geografia di Claudio Tolomeo Alessandrino, Venice: Vincezo Valgrisi, 1561, is fully bound in worn dark brown leather, has been rebacked, has been gilt-tooled and gilt-stamped on the front and back covers and spine, the covers and spine are separated, the title page is loose, and there are some text illustrations visible in the photos. Some pages are loose, and pages 253 and 289 are misnumbered. The book measures 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.
