Description: 1 Outstanding Original Art Nouveau Green Glazed Rocket Flower Vase by Eichwald Pottery. with rings of flowery designs around the sides and geometric shapes. Its base is designed like a rocket, making it extremely fascinating and unusual with a futuristic appearance. beneath which is the Eichwald stamp. In the latter part of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries in Bohemia, Bernard Bloch was a renowned businessman in the ceramics industry. One of the few businesses that kept making majolica after World War I was this one. Czechoslovakia was established as a result of the Treaty of Versailles from portions of both Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In 1920, Eichwald Porcelain and Stove Factory replaced the name B. Bloch & Company. During World War II, the Nazis seized control of the facility. Eichwald's former name has been changed to Dubi. ceramic pottery is made.
