Description: Fine large 18th century English Greyhound coursing scene, oil on canvas by John Most Sartorius. Good quality example of the artists work famed for his sporting pictures in the 18th and early 19th century. The work is in original unrestored condition and a clean surface ready to hang in its gilt frame. Faintly signed and also faintly titled with the names of the two dogs that are no longer discernible. Measurements: 70cm x 55cm framed approx
