Description: Fine large 19th Century English farming landscape "Harvest Time", oil on canvas by Charles and Henry Shayer. Extensive view of a farming landscape with the landowner overseeing that gathering of the harvest crop. Beautiful figural detail set underneath an expansive sky filled with light cloud. This piece is one of only a few known works that both Shayer brothers produced together with on brother being a exceptional figural painter and the other accomplished at skies. It is in excellent condition for its age and signed bottom left. Presented in a good gilt frame. Measurements: 100cm x 80cm framed approx
