Description: Fine large 17th Century Dutch Old Master of hounds hunting a deer, oil on canvas. Dramatic close perspective and early hunting scene of a pack of hounds bringing down a deer as night falls. Exceptional detail and use of light contrasting the between the darkness and the light illuminated the coats and heads of the dogs. Good condition for its age, framed. Very similar to Synders work, unsigned possibly by Snyders or more likely a member of his studio/circle. Framed. Measurements: 37" x 27" framed
