Description: Portrait of a Lady/Countess, 17th Century Studio Of Sir Peter Lely (1618-1680) - Fine huge 17th century English Master portrait of a Lady of title, probably and Countess, oil on canvas. Superb three quarter length study of the lady in the gardens of her estate leaning upon a mantle wearing a red sash. Sunning detail throughout similar to the works of master painter of the English aristocracy Sir Peter Lely. Good condition for its age with some natural heavy craquelure in the black. Presented in its original antique gilt frame with stunning hand carved details.
