Blaeu, Amsterdam, 1658 (16), 567, (25) p., author's portrait engraved.Completely polished and marbled calf binding; both covers feature the Delft coat of arms in the center, enclosed in a single gilded border; ribbed spine with gilt and a morocco letterpiece; traces of silk ties attached. Excellent condition; some foxing and binding wear. accurate copy. 8vo. 5 1/4 by 7 3/4" with letterpress school reward filled out in pen, granted to Henrico Theodoro Hoogeveen, dated 1796, signed by Jano Hoogeveen, the rector, and "Scholae Delphicae Curatores," J. van Breda, J. Grauwesalm, B.L. van den Boogaert, and H.A. van Marle.
