Description: Italian Old Master landscape painting on canvas from the 17th century depicts hunters in the Rocky Mountains. Excellent quality and condition, classic Rosa's landscape painting, broad view, ca. 1650. presented in a long-established provenance antique gold frame. Dimensions: approximately 33" x 26" when framed. Provenance: Thomas Agnew & Sons, London and Manchester; Mrs. J. Coulthurst, Skipton, Yorkshire; John Nicholas Coulthurst (1791–1862) of Gargrave House, West Riding of Yorkshire, before 1900, as "Rosa" (according to a label on the reverse); offered at Christie's, Chieveley House and Five Private Collections, before 1932.
