Huge scale study in excellent original unrestored condition depiction Judith a three quarter length with her hand resting upon her broadsword and in the other the head of Holofernes. Painted circa 1850 and similar the Riedel's famous work that he produced several versions of on commission for German and Italian nobility of which this may be one of.
