Description: Huge 17th Century Old Master portrait of Portrait Of Lady Mary Villiers, later Duchess of Richmond and Lennox, As Saint Agnes, oil on canvas. Excellent quality and condition three quarter length seated portrait of the Duchess as Saint Agnes holding a palm leaf, accompanied by the lamb and wearing a white satin dress with blue shawl set within a grotto. Exceptional work typical of Van Dyck and his studio during the period. Presented in a superb antique gilt frame. Measurements: 60" x 48" framed approx
