Beautiful study by the Swiss born painter who produced most of his works near Rome, Tivoli and the Great Lakes. Likely a detailed study or prep work for a larger composition. Good provenance with supporting literature and wax collection mark verso. Presented in a gilt frame with artists plaque. Good overall clean condition. Measurements: 45cm x 30cm framed approx
