Description: one large, fine vintage Gilded Ormolu Marquetry Boulle Mantle Display Time Clock in the Louis XVI style. Highest quality with a pendulum and a German 8-day striking movement. 151-80, 21 cm-148 engraved internally on the rear of the mechanism.Unwrapped, a heavy, fine-quality clock weighed under 5 kg. The finest acanthus & floral gilt metal ormolu flourishes are used to decorate it. Brass and enamel dial with Roman numerals and a decorative glass face cover. A statement item for your house or office, the most impressive clock. On the half-hour and the hour, there are strikes. Italian craftsmen built the clock's casing.
