Descritpion: 1 Fine Large Antique Victorian 19th Century British Work of Art Oil Painting Marine Rigged Clipper Ship Crusader Off Isle Of Wight. Far East & New Zealand interest. Subject seascape marine portrait of the known British Clipper 3 masted sailing ship Crusader rigged in full sail portrayed in side profile sailing along along facing towards the left side in rough choppy seas. With figures on deck and the name of the vessel showing by the bow. The British Union Jack flag and 4 other ensign flags can be seen hoisted on the stern & middle masts. With cloudy over cast & blue sky showing overhead. To the far right towards the bow of the ship you can view the long sloping coastline cliffs of the Isle of Wight, with another smaller sailing ship closer to the shoreline, with various seagulls flying around. On the other flank another sailing ship heading facing right.
