Descritpion: One excellent large antique Victorian 19th-century British oil painting depicts the marine schooner Levonia off the coast of Portsmouth. The British Schooner Levonia, a two-masted sailing ship, is the subject of this seascape marine painting as it sails through relatively rough waves while fully rigged. with the captain and sailor figures on deck, and the ship's name displayed near the bow. On the stern and main masts, numerous blue, white, and red ensign flags are flown.a mostly clear blue sky with some lingering white clouds. Portsmouth's shoreline can be seen to the far left. You can see distant little sailing ships on the other flank.
