Description: 1 Fine Large Scottish Oil Painting by William Haining depicting a Medieval Ruin at Dunnottar Castle Fortress. You can see the stunning sunrise in the distance together with a marine seascape in the subject famous place of Dunnottar Castle ruin in Scotland set at sunrise. A small walking path leads to the beach, and the sky is mostly grey and overcast. The shoreline is characterized by rough seas lapping against a small beach cove area, an impressive old castle ruin perched high up on a cliff, hills sloping down towards the cove further back, and large stone boulders at the front. A good illustration of his work. Oil on the ship. 1974, from the late 20th century.
