Description: Large 18th Century portrait of a gentleman identified as Colonel Kenyon in hunting attire accompanied by a hound, oil on canvas. Superb half length portrait of the gentleman in a woodland with his hound, riding staff and wearing his red hunting jacket. Excellent condition. Distinctly similar to the period portraits of Gainsborough during the period. Framed, inscription verso added at a later date. Measurements: 43" x 35" framed approx
