Excellent quality and condition Newlyn School scene painted on an exhibition scale. Beautiful natural tones in the palette and strong use of light typical of Forbes paintings and his circle. Old artist label verso verso stating "Cornish Valley" and partially ineligible (The dark........of the dripping wheel". Presented in its original antique gilt frame. Measurements: 63" x 49" framed
