Description: Fine 16th Century Italian School Old Master portrait of a male by a tree, possibly as St Sebastian, oil on panel. Stunning early study of a partially clothed male by a tree. Similar to traditional depictions of St Sebastian from the period though before his martyrdom. Excellent original condition and a unique subject for the period painted by an accomplished hand. Unframed, good panel condition. Measurements: 29" x 16" unframed
