Descritpion: Edward Lloyd of Ellesmere's Horses Going To Market "On The Road" Traveling To Chester, a fine art antique 19th century Victorian English oil painting. Subject genre scene of a horse merchant trader riding his brown horse and leading two other lighter brown horses just behind him and further back with a lovely white horse trailing behind. He is wearing a thick fine country coat and traveling on an old dirt path road. He is nearing a crossroad on the hillside path through Beeston Peckforton Hills in Cheshire, and a sign right by him indicates that Chester is on the right. He could see several horses and a rider in front of him.
