Description: One antique British Art Deco original desk calendar made of ebonized wood and hallmarked sterling silver. Being 21.5 cm broad and 14.7 cm high, it is a nice size. The top of the clock has dials that may be manually turned to move the months back and forth. The other two dials adjust move a red scrolling line to show the passage of the days. Below that is another dial that moves the remaining days of the month back and forth. A magnificent Art Deco perpetual desk calendar with an ebonized wood base and a solid silver frame cover. It's a well crafted desk calendar with a very appealing appearance. It also carries the makers mark W.J.M & Co for W.J. Myatt and the hallmark for Birmingham 1937 with the anchor, lion, and date letter N.
