Description: One fine antique English oil painting from the early 19th century, "Partisan," depicts the bay hunter horse "Partisan" by renowned artist James Barenger. Subject Portrait of a bay hunter horse named Partisan on an open green field with trees in the background, facing left. Old label on the verso with the title Hunter In Landscape. Along with the artist's biography, the name of the horse, "Partisan," is also etched on the verso.
