Description: Oil on canvas portrait of a girl in a garden by an American Impressionist from the 19th century. Impressionist garden scene in excellent quality and condition, with a girl wearing a white dress and a red rose as the focal point. Period-appropriate and painted at Reid's scale, characteristic of his work. Unsigned, although verso bears an inscription indicating provenance from private collections in London and Paris. The framed measurements are approximately 24.5" x 21.5".
