Description: Fine circa 1700 Portrait of Ambrogio Spinola, 1st Marquess of Los Balbases (569-1630) a Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece and The Order Of Santiago, oil on canvas. Excellent quality and condition study of the Knight and nobleman of the Republic of Genoa. Painted in a style that closely resembles Van Dyck. The sitter is closely linked to another unidentified Knight we are also selling as they came together as a matching pair. Presented in a gilt frame. Measurements: 45cm x 40cm framed approx
