Description: Large oil on canvas court portrait of Anna Maria Mancini from the 17th century. Mancini, the daughter of Baron Mancini and Girolama Mazzarini, is depicted in an excellent quality and condition bust scale portrait wearing a green and orange dress within a staged oval. She was one of five sisters and two cousins taken to France by Cardinal Mazarin in order to marry advantageously. The painting, which is housed in a gorgeous antique gilt foliate frame, was probably commissioned while the subject was in England attending court when her sister Hortnese was Charles II's mistress. Dimensions: approx. 36.5" x 31" framed
