Excellent quality three quarter length portrait of Augusta Gordon holding a book and wearing a white dress. Would be hugely improved with a clean. presented in its original antique gilt frame with small losses. Augusta Gordon (née Bolton) born in 1828 in Ontario, Canada. Married Colonel ECA Gordon and lived in Izmir, Turkey. Her daughter, Ann, married Frederick Heneage and their son, Sir Arthur Heneage, was the grandfather of the present vendor Measurements: 53" x 45" framed approx
