Featuring an exquisite dark patinated and parcel-gilded bronze ovoid vase with a narrow neck and bas-relief pictures of two pheasants perched on a rockwork emerging from it with peony and prunus blossoming branches. The base has four character marks for Xuande Hsuan Te. A unique piece that museums and individual collectors both find desirable. purchased from an antiques merchant as provenance. approximately in the Qing dynasty.
