Description: Samuel Drummond painted a sizable oil on canvas portrait of Emma Delmar in the 19th century. Excellent quality and condition portrait of the young heiress taken on the Delmar & Co. estate in Ceylon, which exports tea and coffee. plaque with an old gilt frame. with numerous tears that need to be repaired. The Delmar family moved to England and France in the second half of the 19th century after getting married into the nobility. Size: about 38" x 32" framed
