Description: Large 17th century English Portrait of Henry Ashhurst, bust length, wearing a black doublet with white collar, oil on canvas. Inscribed lower left Henry Ashhurst Com: Lancaster 163, inscribed upper left Aetatis Suae 53 Ano 1634 and with painted coat of arms upper right. Excellent condition presented in a good gilt frame. Measurements: 35" x 30" framed approx. One of a pair of Mrs & Mrs Ashurst we are cataloguing for sale.
